SEDONA, ARIZONA

Welcome to a taste of Sedona, complete with recipes, hikes, art, restaurants, and most of it from the "local point of view."  Enjoy.
Restaurants
Shugrue's Hillside Grill.  One of the favorites of locals and tourists alike.  Fresh food, excellent wines, views to surround you... Located on SR 179, it is close to the "Y" and Uptown.

RENE's at Tlaquepaque

Check out the lunch menu.   Stop for lunch and then browse the shops at Tlaquepaque.  Great afternoon.

The BARKING FROG in West Sedona

This restaurant is a bit far from the shops and center of Sedona, but it is worth the trip for dinner.  The patio in the summer is so very Sedona!  Enjoy the tableside preparation of guacamole. Hmm-mm.  The same people own the Cowboy Club, the Redstone Cabin, and the Silver Saddle Room.

BISTRO BELLA TERRA at the "Y"

Bistro Bella Terra Patio

This
restaurant is located at the Pinion Pointe Hyatt Shops, just above the intersection at the "Y" (the intersection of SR 179 and Hwy 89A).  After lunch stroll up to Chico's, then visit the other shops along the way.

One of Sedona's finest...
L'Auberge de Sedona.  Eat creekside and enjoy the calming sounds of the water as it ripples over and around the rocks.  Simply elegant.
GARLAND'S RESTAURANT:  The history of Garlands can be found in the Garland's "Sharing the Table" Cookbook by Amanda Stein and Mary Garland.  You must call to see if there is room for a non-guest.  The website tells you the nightly special.  A must...
