Oak Creek behind Junipine Resort. From there you can access the A B Young Trail up Mt, Wilson. Hard hike. Switchbacks. Plan the day for this hike. Take lots of water.
Spring in Sedona is the awakening of a most colorful land. Tulips bloom in March amid snows, while ornamental plum trees blossom thick mantles of pink. Jasmine follows with perfume throughout the summer. Apple trees, cherry trees, pear trees bloom amid the Junipers and cactus making Sedona a gift from the gods.

Fall is mystical. The colors begin in Oak Creek Canyon about October and unfold to lower elevations of Sedona until the December when the weather blows cold and snow flakes replace the golden leaves.

Sedona in the winter can only be described as awesome.

More grandeur.

Snow during the winter gives Sedona a surreal look...powdered sugar has been sprinkled on the landscape...

And then again summer at Oak Creek Canyon...

Prickly Pear Cactus and their beautiful blossoms can be found throughout the lower desert and in the higher elevations such as Sedona.
