Sometimes the deer are very visible and other times you will only see them at night.

Deer eat young tree and bush branches, the berries, flowers...

The Javelina can be seen in some neighborhoods during the day and at night.  They forage for food and can be fun to watch (from a distance).

My young cat, Bo, has developed a friendship with one of the deer in the neighborhood and neighbors tell me that the deer will lay down near the fence with Bo close by.
