2017 – Christmas

I love Sedona winters, but this year, winter has been more like a dry fall.  Today, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve, it’s 48 degrees at 10AM.  We are supposed to rise to a temperature of 60.

But Christmas is still awesome!  I’ll be putting up the Christmas lights today.

This was last year, 2016

This year:

2011… stormy weather…

Stormy Sedona days!  We’re in for two days of, first rain, then snow at the 4500 ft level.

Love the winters… In Sedona, it’s a cleansing process.  Mother Nature settles the dust, soaks the ground for growth, then covers the landscape with a blanket of white.  Enjoy some pictures of our beautiful Sedona winters.

I’m going to take a drive up SR89A to see Oak Creek.  Winter in Oak Creek is so very special.  The storm and the aftermath… crystal sparkles as the sun peeks through the defrocked trees, glistening fairies dancing on the waters of Oak Creek…
