Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Sedona; and, Westfork is one of the most beautiful places on this planet during the fall.
These pictures should whet your appetite for a hike along Oak Creek between October 10th and the 25th. You can go other times but those dates will give you the most beautiful reds, yellows, pinks, and greens. Be prepared to rock-hop across Oak Creek in as many as 6 places as you walk the long meandering trail.
The canyon walls are spectacular!! they exude grays, pinks, oranges, browns, tans and many smudges of color. Beneath these behemoth walls live flora and fauna indigenous to the Sedona area. Deer are a usual sight within both the City and the Canyon. Javelina can be found traveling the same paths. We are home to rabbits, ground squirrels, etc.
